Archery Lessons
(adults and children 7 yrs and older)

BEGINNER Beginner/Family this class is for children and adults who are NEW to archery and competition. This is a target archery class consisting of shooting at a stationary bullseye target. Form & Safety will be emphasized. Participants will enjoy games, learn about scoring and have fun with balloons. No experience needed. INTERMEDIATE Come as you are, be ready for intense challenge and yet have FUN. Come improve your shooting abilities. Develop the mental aspects of shooting as well as the excitement of learning the art of an age old skill.  More Details

TEEN MOVIE NIGHT: Ghostbusters (2016)

Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to join us for a movie showing of Ghostbusters (2016) in our newly renovated Lower Level. We'll have pizza at 5:30 followed by popcorn and the movie at 6:00 PM! This program is open to teens from any town in the area and is cosponsored with the Concord Public Library and Hooksett Library, so please RSVP by August 17th. Questions? Bow Youth Football Annual Fundraiser Spaghetti Dinner

Come join us for our annual Spaghetti Fundraising Dinner. Enjoy some good food with good friends, while supporting our kids. The players get in for free and may bring as many family members as they like for a small donation. Ages 6-12 and Seniors are $6.00, over 12 are $7.00. Children under 6 are free! Protect Our Town Campaign

Chief Lougee welcomes anyone with concerns for safety (police or fire) to attend the Chief's “Protect Our Town Campaign” on Aug 20 (Sunday) at 2pm in the Training Room at the Safety Center (#7 Knox Road). Chief Harrington and Chief Lougee will engage the public in discussions on HOW TO BEST PROTECT OUR TOWN. Please join us! We are looking for citizen input and solutions!  

Gentle Yoga

Ultimate Frisbee Gr 5-8

We are happy to have Ultimate Frisbee return for its 2nd year with Bow Recreation! Ultimate Frisbee combines the nonstop movement and endurance of soccer with the aerial passing of football and the teamwork of basketball—making it one of the most fun and aerobic team sports. The objective of this non-contact sport is to throw a Frisbee up the field among team of seven (can be modified to account for more or less players) from teammate to teammate until it’s caught in the opponent’s end zone.  More Details

End of Summer Reading with Magician Bob Riordan

Join us for an end of summer reading party! Attendees are invited to come dressed as their favorite fairy tale character for a chance to win a prize. We will start off with ice cream and a photo op with our cardboard castle at 5:30 and the magic show at 6:00 p.m. The magic show will combine magic, music, comedy, storytelling, and of course some audience participation! Bob Riordan's Wonder Show offers an unforgettable experience into the world of magic - a world of which you become a part.

Friends of the Baker Free Library - Book Donation Day

Donations will be reviewed at the time of donation and books that are not accepted will be returned with the donor immediately. We are looking for books in gently used condition. We do not accept text books, encyclopedias, magazines, or CD/audiotapes.

Pre-Orders for Mums Being Taken (for Annual Bow Pioneers Fall Mum Sale)

Sponsored by the Bow Pioneers Snowmobile Club These hardy Mums will be ready for delivery in September. These are 9-10 inch pots with plants that are about two feet across. They are locally grown at Murray Farms in Penacook. The proceeds from this sale will help offset the costs of trail maintenance and equipment costs. There are five colors of plants, Dark Red, White, Yellow, Pink/Lavender and Rust/Bronze. You may purchase mums by pre order or you can choose plants at the Bandstand either day of the sale. Pre-Orders will be taken starting August 28, 2017 All orders must be in by September 11th,2017.
