On Friday December 15, 2017 at approximately 2:15 pm, the Bow Police Department stopped a motor vehicle that had fled the scene of an accident that occurred in Concord, NH. The driver was identified as Kathleen Melanson 55, of Dover, NH. After Officers spoke with Melanson, who they suspected to be intoxicated, she failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for third offense DUI and open container. Melanson refused a breath test and was released on $3000.00 personal recognizance bail. She is scheduled to be arraigned January 8, 2018 in the Concord District Court.

On Friday December 15, 2017 at approximately 9:15 pm, the Bow Police Department received several complaints of a vehicle traveling erratically north bound on Route 3A. An Officer spotted the vehicle and pulled over Jeewan Dhital 23, of Concord on Route 3A near Hall Street. After agreeing to take field sobriety tests Dhitial was arrested and charged with DUI, driving after suspension, and two outstanding electronic bench warrants. Jeewan Dhital had been arrested by the Bow Police Department on October 9, 2017, for driving while intoxicated and is awaiting trial on that charge. He refused bail and was arraigned Monday December 18, 2017 in the Concord District Court.
