Questions about SB2 (RSA 40:13):
SB2 is on the Town Warrant and would be voted on at the Town Meeting on Wednesday, March 17th at the Bow High School. The Town Meeting starts at 6:30 PM. Voting on Article 3 on the Town Warrant relative to the adoption of the SB2 form of government has to be by written ballot with the ballot box kept open for an hour. To accommodate voters who may be uncomfortable entering a meeting room, a Supervisor, an assistant Moderator and a ballot box will be available in the High School lobby so that voters may cast a ballot on this article without entering a meeting room.
When you check in with the supervisors you will be handed the ballots needed for the voting which have the YES/NO boxes to be checked off.
The one hour of voting begin when the Moderator starts the voting after all the deliberations are over.
The Town meeting will be livestreamed. The link is posted on the Town of Bow website at www.bownh.gov or you can view it here https://youtu.be/M_WuzWwkA_g
You have to be present at the meeting to vote on any of the warrant articles.
Town reports are available at the town office building lobby and available at the Bow High School on the day of the meetings. Residents who have a copy of the Town report, please bring them with you to the Town Meeting.
