Been Busy

Spring Cleanup

Highway Manager Chip Craig and the crew have been out working on picking up fallen trees and branches and repairing washouts from the Winter. The windstorms that have been happening have caused a mess.

Town of Bow Street Sweeper

Have you seen me yet?

I am the Town's new street sweeper. The Town purchased a used sweeper from Audley Construction. The sweeper has been out cleaning up our Town parking lots and will be out on the streets soon. The Town had previously contracted with a company to perform the sweeping and the cost of the sweeper will be covered over two contract years. There is no set sweeping schedule at this time, however if you have any concerns, please contact the Department of Public Works for assistance at 603-223-3930.

Cemeteries are Open

The crews have continued pruning trees and moving branches from the cemeteries. The water at Alexander Cemetery will be turned on before opening day. Evans Cemetery relies on the School District’s water supply and it will be turned on at their discretion.

Old Town Hall refresh 4-20-21

Old Town Hall has been "Refreshed"

Rentals may have come to a halt during the pandemic at the Old Town Hall, but there was still a lot going on inside. The Bow Rotary Club and the Bow Men's Club donated many volunteer hours and funding to repair plaster, refinish the wainscoting, and put up new
wall paper.

A new picture rail is also being installed to enable the hanging of pictures without damaging the newly papered walls. The floors will be refinished sometime in the near future.

Thank you again to the Bow Rotary Club and the Bow Community Men's Club.
