This program is for children under age 3 with an adult. It is a 30 minute interactive program for the very young including simple songs, fingerplays, elementary flannel boards, very short books, and easy movement activities.

2017 Bow Rotary Summer Concert Series

South Street Blues Band The Rotary Club of Bow Summer Concert Series. How would you like to relax outdoors while listening to the pleasing sounds of live music for FREE? You can, every Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Gazebo (band stand) in Bow (across the street from the community center). Not only do we have a band each week, we also have Refreshments provided by the “Bow Community Men’s Club” and a 50/50 raffle. Bring you blankets and chairs! Below are the bands and the dates they will be entertaining us: July 9, 2017, The Concord Coachmen/Laconia Chordsmen July 16, 2017, The Jordan Tirrel-Wysocki Band July 23, 2017, The Mink Hills Band July 30, 2017, The Canyon Run Band August 6, 2017, The Freese Brothers Band August 13, 2017, The South Street Blues Band In inclement weather, the fun continues, as we will move the concert inside of the Bow Community Building.

Drop-in Family Storytime

This program is for children up to age 6 with an adult. This 45 minute program is perfect for families with several children of different ages. Activities include stories, songs, fingerplays, flannel boards, creative movement, and simple crafts.

Movie Matinee: Puss in Boots

The Library will be showing kid-friendly movies every Tuesday afternoon during the eight weeks of summer programs. No registration is required. Popcorn will be provided. All children under age 11 MUST be accompanied by an adult who remains on the Lower Level.

Young at Heart Trip - Annie The Musical and Lunch

Jean's Playhouse is the brand new climate controlled 260 seat auditorium. We will enjoy Annie The Musical and then head to Indian Head Resort to enjoy lunch. Transportation, gratuities, reserved show seats, lunch and taxes included. Contact Parks & Recreation department for more info at 228-2222.

Fairy Tale Fun

This is a story/craft program geared for children ages 7 and up. Younger children can be registered as long as a parent accompanies them. Each week we will read a fairy tale, enjoy a snack, and create a craft project related to the tale. Space is limited. Registration is required. Fairy Tale is Puss in Boots.

TEEN MOVIE NIGHT: Ghostbusters (2016)

Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to join us for a movie showing of Ghostbusters (2016) in our newly renovated Lower Level. We'll have pizza at 5:30 followed by popcorn and the movie at 6:00 PM! This program is open to teens from any town in the area and is cosponsored with the Concord Public Library and Hooksett Library, so please RSVP by August 17th. Questions? Protect Our Town Campaign

Chief Lougee welcomes anyone with concerns for safety (Police or Fire) to attend the Chief's “Protect Our Town Campaign” on Aug 20 (Sunday) at 2pm in the Training Room at the Safety Center (#7 Knox Road). Chief Harrington and Chief Lougee will engage the public in discussions on HOW TO BEST PROTECT OUR TOWN. Please join us! We are looking for citizen input and solutions!

End of Summer Reading with Magician Bob Riordan

Join us for an end of summer reading party! Attendees are invited to come dressed as their favorite fairy tale character for a chance to win a prize. We will start off with ice cream and a photo op with our cardboard castle at 5:30 and the magic show at 6:00 p.m. The magic show will combine magic, music, comedy, storytelling, and of course some audience participation! Bob Riordan's Wonder Show offers an unforgettable experience into the world of magic - a world of which you become a part.
