Step It Up & Having A Ball September 13, 2017, 8:30 AM?-?9:30 AM @ Bow Community Center Instructor Becca Cleary will rotate each week with Step It Up, that will increase your stepping skills and Having A Ball that will pump up your fitness with stability ball based workouts. Rising Stars Tap & Jazz Gr 5-8 September 13, 2017, 5:30 PM?-?7:30 PM @ Bow Community Center This class is for middle school age students with at least three years of dance who are looking to step up their training! During the jazz portion of our class, students will learn classic jazz technique as well as musical theater and hip-hop inspired dance forms. Jazz classes consist of warm-up, center work, and traveling progressions, which are all designed to increase flexibility, strength, and technique. During tap, we will work on simple and more complex rhythms through technique aimed at achieving good, clear tap sounds. Rookie Readers September 14, 2017, 4:00 PM?-?5:00 PM @ Baker Free Library A book club designed for newly independent or soon-to-be readers. Children should be in Grades K-2. Each program includes a book discussion, snack, read-aloud, and an activity related to the theme of the day. Children should bring a favorite book to the first meeting.

 15th Annual Mum Sale

15th Annual Fall Mum SaleSeptember 16 & 17, 2017, 8:00 AM?-? 2:00 PM @ Bow Gazebo Sponsored by the Bow Pioneers Snowmobile Club These hardy Mums will be ready for delivery in September. These are 9-10 inch pots with plants that are about two feet across. They are locally grown at Murray Farms in Penacook. The proceeds from this sale will help offset the costs of trail maintenance and equipment costs. There are five colors of plants, Dark Red, White, Yellow, Pink/Lavender and Rust/Bronze. You may purchase mums by pre order or you can choose plants at the Bandstand either day of the sale. Pre-Orders will be taken starting August 28, 2017 All orders must be in by September 11th,2017. The plants will be available for pick-up or delivery Saturday the 16th or Sunday the 17th 2017 (8am-2pm) For Information or purchase please contact Dan or Jodi Weed.

West (accessed from Page Rd.) Bow Open Spaces Trails Committee celebrates the arrival of Fall with a trail care event in the Walker Forest on Sunday, September 17, 10-12 and 12-2. Volunteers will spruce up the Webelos Trail, blaze several trails, and cut a new trail. Tasks range from physically easy to hard. We appreciate any donation of time! Meet at 10 AM or 12 PM at the trail head parking lot- just beyond 7 Branch Londonderry Turnpike West (accessed from Page Road). Useful things to bring include: loppers, small saws, work gloves, bug spray, water, and snacks/lunch! Great chance to learn new trails and meet other outdoor enthusiasts. 50 Plus Fitness September 18, 2017, 9:45 AM?-?10:36 AM @ Bow Community Center Join Michele Vecchione, our Over 50 Brains and Balance Specialist, and friends to discover that fitness is a lot of fun! Her program includes strength training, cardio, balance training and more. The emphasis is on the needs of the exercising older adult, but anyone is welcome. Everyone works at their own pace with modifications provided for various abilities. Chairs are available for resting and/or balancing.
