Skating and Sledding Season
Skating at the Town Pond and sledding at the Bandstand
Open to the public, weather permitted.  Please read and obey ALL signs.  The Parks and Recreation will post if the pond is open or closed for skating.  Questions or concerns contact the Parks and Recreation Office at 603-223-3920, M - F, 8:00 AM - 4 PM 

Active Listeners
Thursday, January 25, 2018, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Baker Free Library
This 30-minute interactive program is geared for children under age 3 with an adult. Activities include songs, simple fingerplays, elementary flannel boards, very short books, and easy movement activities.


Rookie Readers
Thursday, January 25, 2018, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Baker Free Library
Book club designed for newly independent OR soon-to-be readers. Children should be in Grades K-2. Each program includes a book discussion, snack, read-aloud, and an activity related to the theme of the day. For January 25th: Read a book by Cynthia Rylant.

Full Moon Winter Hike
Saturday, January 27, 2018, 3:20 PM Sharp @Winslow State Park Entrance
We will be heading to Mt Kearsarge. Leaving the Winslow State Park entrance road at 3:20 PM sharp. Approximately 4 hours, 5 mile hike. Guided by Bob Dawkins of Bow Open Spaces.  Some winter snowshoe and hiking experience required.  Must have adequate gear, food and water.  We will have you speak directly with Bob prior to the hike to be sure these requirements are met. RSVP with Bow Recreation at 603-223-3920.

FREE Yoga Classes for Bow Residents @ Baker Free Library

Due to a collaboration with YogaNH (Concord, NH), the library is pleased to offer FREE 1-hour yoga class to Bow residents and library card holders! These classes are suitable for all levels. Sign up early because slots are already filling up!! Classes will be held in the Library's Merrimack County Savings Bank Room in the Lower Level. Because these classes are being held outside of library operating hours, participants will need to enter through the Lower Level door near the handicapped parking and ramp. Please register in advance through the MindBody app (search under Yoga for YogaNH) or contact Lori Fisher at 224-7113 or lori@bakerfreelib.org. Thank you to YogaNH for giving back to the Bow community as part of their paid use of our facilities for events and workshops!

Learn to Arm Knit Take 2
