Bow Chief of Police Margaret Lougee made the following statement with regard to the gathering of individuals at Merrimack Station:

“We’re happy to have visitors to the Town of Bow and will ensure their rights to peaceably assemble and exercise free speech. We also have a responsibility to ensure the safety of town residents and visitors, and to preserve the property of the town and the businesses in Bow. We ask those exercising their free speech rights and the motoring public, to remember to follow the rules of the road, never stop on the railroad tracks, and obey all signage. If we observe violations of the law, we will arrest those individuals.”
