Accreditation

The Bow Police Department is a State accredited agency. The New Hampshire Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission awarded accreditation status to our agency in March of 2025.

NHLEAccred has established standards designed to prevent and control crime, increase agency effectiveness and efficiency, increase cooperation and coordination with other agencies, and increase citizen and employee confidence in the goals, objectives, policies, and practices of the agency. NHLEAccred assessors monitor the level of compliance of the Bow Police Department every 3 years. Lieutenant Phil Lamy is the department's accreditation manager.
