Chief of Police – Chief Ken Miller The Chief of Police serves as the department’s chief executive officer and is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and administration of the agency. The Chief establishes departmental goals and priorities, oversees all operations and divisions, manages the budget and resources, ensures compliance with laws and policies, and represents the department in community and governmental relations. The Chief is ultimately accountable for the safety and well-being of both the community and the members of the department.

Patrol Lieutenant – Lt. Phil Lamy The Patrol Lieutenant is the commander of the Patrol Division, the largest and most visible operational unit of the department. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of patrol shifts, sergeants, and patrol officers; the deployment of personnel and resources in response to calls for service; traffic enforcement; preliminary and follow-up criminal investigations; and emergency response coordination. The Patrol Lieutenant ensures that 24/7 patrol coverage is maintained at the highest level of readiness and professionalism while fostering community-oriented policing initiatives. The patrol lieutenant is also responsible for law enforcement accreditation management.

Administrative Lieutenant – Lt. Matt Pratte The Administrative Lieutenant oversees critical support functions that enable the department to operate efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities include, policy development and review, training coordination, recruitment and hiring, records management, evidence and property control, fleet and facility maintenance, grant administration, and technology systems. The Administrative Lieutenant also serves as the primary liaison for internal affairs, professional standards, and risk-management issues, ensuring the department maintains the highest standards of integrity and accountability.

Together, the Chief of Police and the two Lieutenants form the department’s senior leadership team, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional public safety services to our community.
